What you can expect

Come meet the Black and White Ruffed Lemurs at Hunter Valley Wildlife Park. These charismatic critters are sure to melt your heart with their cute antics. During your visit, the knowledgeable primate keeper will share fascinating insights into the lives of these animals as you enjoy the opportunity to get up close and personal with them. Don’t forget to bring a camera to capture this special encounter or get professional photos taken for a small fee. Afterwards, enjoy exploring the rest of the zoo and its amazing creatures with general admission included.

  • Participants must be 16 years or older
  • There is a maximum of two people per encounter
  • If you are experiencing cold or flu symptoms you can not participate in this experience as primates can catch human colds
  • This exhibit is wheelchair accessible for chairs under 80 cm wide
  • Additional images can be purchased with our Digital Photography Package

  • Hunter Valley Wildlife Park may choose to cancel specific encounters due to sudden changes in weather conditions or animal welfare at any time, guests will be notified and dates re-scheduled.
Cancellation Policy
  • Vouchers are valid for one use before the expiry date printed on the ticket.
  • Vouchers are non-refundable or transferable.
  • Please print your tickets to present on entry to the wildlife park or alternatively display your voucher on your electronic device.
  • Entry will not be permitted without displaying your voucher as proof of purchase.
